Every year, Missouri’s K-12th-grade students help our state's endangered species by participating in MDC's Endangered Species Postcard Contest. This year’s contest challenged them to show one or more endangered Missouri species that depend on Missouri's midsized rivers, such as the Platte, the Salt and the Osage. Five First-Place Winners Will Get Their Postcards Published!

The first-place postcard from each of the five age classes will be printed and sold in MDC Nature Shops. That means the winners’ artwork and names will be known throughout the state. How cool is that?!
